At LCKY, we know that many of our teams go above and beyond in their contribution to the business, and it was with that in mind that we proudly instigated the LCKY Awards this spring. We are delighted to announce the first winners of the ‘Better Together’ Award – the Swintt Platform Tech Team!

This award represents the very best in collaboration, teamwork and flexibility across the business, and the deserving recipients were the Swintt Platform Tech Team.

The winners are pictured above, and they were able to share a little insight into the work they do.

“We take care of the whole [Swintt] platform,” said Airidas Venskus, Technical Lead. “We develop features, and fix bugs, one line of code at a time. We're like the engineers in the Snowpiercer (hope enough people watched it) engine room, working to make it run continuously, with no disruptions.”

As to why his team won the award, Airidas credits the great teamwork and spirit that exists in the group. “In my humble opinion, people recognised us a team that's always there to help and not shy away. Everyone on the team goes above and beyond to deliver and being together we are indeed better”

But how does it feel to win the Award?  “The World Cup is cool,” said Nader Seghatoleslami, Manual QA Engineer, “but lifting the Better Together Award means the World to us.”
